The surface of this Prairie Platter is inspired by the ever-changing prairies of my region.
It is hand built out of a smooth red earthenware clay.
White slip is poured by cup-full on the surface to create the undulating variation of amber waves when the glaze is later brushed on.
Can easily go from oven to table.
13" x 8.5" x 2.5"
Best to hand wash and dry.
