The surface of this Prairie Platter is inspired by the ever-changing prairies of my region. It is hand built out of a smooth red earthenware clay.
White slip is poured by cup-full on the surface to create the undulating variation of amber waves when the glaze is later brushed on.
13.5" x 8>25" x 2.25"
Best to hand wash and dry.
Can go right in the oven.
